I took this one in drizzly Billerica (note the umbrella) in a D3 quaterfinal game between Ipswich and Shawsheen. This shot by Courtney Long produced the only goal of the game. I positioned myself to the left of the Shawsheen goal to take pictures. This was a direct kick because of a violation. The beauty of the shot is that the Shawsheen girl turned away from the shot and opened up a direct opening to the corner.
I used my Canon Rebel T1i on sports mode and continuous shooting. The overcast conditions impacted the clarity for sure.
